I'd like to use Wilsonart Classic Glueless Planks in Planetree Maple. The installation guide (PDF) is online.

plan

1. Order flooring, quarter rounds for edging, overlap stair nose, underlayment, and spacers.
2. Once flooring arrives, wait a week for planks to adjust to ambient humidity levels.
3. Meanwhile, collect tools:
   • tapping block (homemade)
   • hammer
   • table saw
   • pull or crowbar
   • polyethylene or foil tape (for taping seams between rows of underlayment)
   • adhesive (for quarter round edging)
   • nails (for quarter round edging)
   • drill (for pre-drilling nail holes for quarter round edging)
4. Move furniture out of living and dining areas.
5. Remove railing and rip up carpet.
6. Nail down wood subfloor to eliminate creaks.
7. Proceed with instructions from Installation Guide.
